Nolan and Harper wanted to go to the park, so afterward I convinced them to snap a few pictures. I am LOVING these colors together. Rust red, grey, caramel and black are making a constant appearance in our wardrobe! This rust red tunic from Flaunt Boutique is the perfect length to wear with over the knee boots like I did today or with leggings and booties. I really like…

    Playroom Vibes

Earlier this month, the talented photographer, Kristina Mosley, shot us in our home. I really wanted a lifestyle session in our home to document a moment in time for my family. I feel like the kids are growing SO fast and having photos of us together in our home will always be a treasure for me to look at. You can catch the first half of our shoot here. She ended up taking so many beautiful pictures that I am breaking them into separate blog posts. I LOVE the moments she captured of us, and especially of the kids, in their playroom. Our entire family is loving all things spooky and cannot wrap our heads around how quickly this month is flying by. The kids had a spooky-themed picnic…

If you could see how much they eat and drink, I think you’d actually wonder how on Earth we’re able to keep anything in the house. While Derrek or myself is fixing their breakfast, we try and keep them content with a drink and some giggles in the kitchen. When they first wake up, they are both so happy and fun! I call this their golden hour. They love to curl up in the kitchen with their blankets and cups while we sing silly songs and talk about what we are thankful for. Every day, I try…

    Boho Chic

Boho chic has become my favorite style to wear. I’ve always thought of myself as someone having fashion schizophrenia as I’ve always liked to change my style from day to day. Now that I’ve seen most of my looks on the blog, I realize how much I lean towards Boho. This is how I feel most comfortable–with a kimono and my fringe booties. I haven’t purchased any other fall items for my wardrobe other than shoes and kimonos! If anyone has been standoffish from Boho chic looks, please set your conflicted feelings aside and try on an outfit. I think you’ll be surprised at how comfortable and cute you look!…
