Every morning when the kids wake up, they head straight to the kitchen. If you could see how much they eat and drink, I think you’d actually wonder how on Earth we’re able to keep anything in the house. While Derrek or myself is fixing their breakfast, we try and keep them content with a drink and some giggles in the kitchen. When they first wake up, they are both so happy and fun! I call this their golden hour. They love to curl up in the kitchen with their blankets and cups while we sing silly songs and talk about what we are thankful for. Every day, I try to get everyone (minus Harper for now) to share three things that they are thankful for. By doing this we are speaking our gratitude into the world and being mindful of how blessed we are. This helps each of us become more aware of our surroundings and the great things in our lives.
The kids are obsessed with cups, and thanks to Sip Snap lids, they are able to enjoy them without making a big mess! I found these about a year ago on Pinterest, and when I started reading about them, I found out that the company is owned by two moms! Who better to make kids products than moms who are around the kids?! The mom duo created a one-size-fits-all sippy cup lid and rasied the bar for kid’s products. Nolan and Harper love their Sip Snap lids, and I cannot wait to add more colors to their collection.
