Falling into Fall

This post is in partner with Freshly Picked. We were gifted these products in exchange for my honest review. Please visit my disclaimer page for more information.

The temperate hasn’t changed in SC but fall has brought a ton of activities. I find that there is SO much to do at any given time and we are rarely home outside of our homeschool schedule. I love fall for many reasons… it does take a little longer for it to get cooler in the South but camping, visiting the pumpkin patches, decorating our home, going to fall festivals and the fair, drinking hot chocolate by a bonfire and having a s’mores. These are all things that pop into my head when I think of this season.

What are your favorite parts of fall? Please share them and if you have any family actitives involved, I would love to hear them! We are going upstate in a few weeks to stay in a cabin in the mountains. I plan on taking the kids to hike, Pan for gemstones at a man made mine and go apple picking!

Regardless of the time of year, Scarlet Reese always wears her Freshly Picked moccasins. All of our children have worn these as their “first shoes” up until their feet no longer fit them. I’m so sad that Nolan can’t be apart of the mocc crew anymore. I normally buy a bright pair and a neutral like platinum for Spring and Summer. For Fall I still make sure that I have a platinum color but I love adding in a good darker netural like this Zion brown or a gray. They go with EVERYTHING and look really “fall” in my opinion. No matter what color you buy, these are the best shoes for your Little’s! They are so comfy and easy to style with anything, it’s a no brainer for saving money in the shoe department. You can see the entire line up of Freshly Picked Moccs by checking out their website, here.

(p.s. my dress is last year from Hazel and Mae Boutique. My purse and my shoes are from Vici Collection.)
