    My Workout Routine

Living in the country has its perks and not living close to a gym isn’t one of them. I always say that if I could have a gym, coffee shop and a Target it would be perfect out here. Until all of that happens, I have to fend for myself in the exercise department. I’ve never really been a “weights” type of workout person. I love to go for a brisk walk, jog and do squats until my legs feel like jello. Most mornings when the kids and I wake up, we do go for a walk and feed the animals at the farm down the road. On the way home, I…

Taking Your Health Into Your Own Hands

I often get asked HOW to start transitioning to a healthier lifestyle and my answer is simple. CHOOSE to start and focus on one area to change first. If you decide you want to live healthier and non toxic and think about changing everything at once, it’s going to overwhelm you and chances are, you wont start. You’ll just keep putting it off and putting it off verses just starting somewhere. I chose to clean up my food first. This meant not eating at drive through restaurants, drinking only water and lots of it and keeping away from processed foods. When grocery shopping, I would stick to organic meats and…

Work Out Motivation Via New Sneakers

shoes | leggings | tshirt One of my 2017 goals is to work out consistently. When I made this a top priority in my life, I realized how dated my workout wear is – especially my shoes. With the help of KicksUSA, I no longer have that issue. Having a “cute” ensemble isn’t mandatory when you work out, but I have found that it does help with my moral. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect sneakers that I can wear with anything and I found them on the KicksUSA website. I LOVE these Adidas kicks and I’ve made everyone (including my very fashionable niece) jealous that I have…
