Taking Your Health Into Your Own Hands

I often get asked HOW to start transitioning to a healthier lifestyle and my answer is simple. CHOOSE to start and focus on one area to change first. If you decide you want to live healthier and non toxic and think about changing everything at once, it’s going to overwhelm you and chances are, you wont start. You’ll just keep putting it off and putting it off verses just starting somewhere. I chose to clean up my food first. Refocusing my Mission

Reflecting on my blogging journey that started two years ago, I realized that I’ve somewhat stepped away from the reason I started. I want to refocus on my mission and share more information with y’all like I did in the beginning. #forbetterbeginnings with the Playtex® Diaper Genie Expressions™

As a 28 year old Mom blogger, I found myself with the blessing and challenge of three young ones under the age of 5.  Our family prizes simplicity, organization and cleanliness, all difficult to uphold when potty training and baby wearing. Life moves at a fast pace, and I am so thankful that Playtex® Diaper Genie Expressions™ has thought to make things easier. As an organic Mama, I first used cloth diapers which proved to be less sustainable to clean and transport as responsibilities grew. Now that I am seasoned in all things baby, I am very selective about what we allow in our home. With the reintroduction of diapers back into our…

    POPS of Color

The transition from Winter to Spring is not only seen outdoors but with our wardrobes as well. Our goes our winter wear like heavy coats, dark jewel tones and warm boots and in comes shortsleeves, bright colors and patterns. I love a good neutral but POPS of color always catch my eye. Since I was in high school, I’ve coveted Lilly Pulitzer pieces. They are a huge investment so I opt for pieces that I LOVE and know I get lots of wear out of. This dress from Lilly always gets lots of compliments. It’s so flattering and I wear it a lot in the warmer months. It’s sold out…

Growing up, I always had a Easter basket from the Easter bunny but my family wasn’t really involved in church. I never grew up KNOWING the true meaning of Easter other than bits and pieces picked up from others. After spending time in my bible, the real meaning of Easter is one that makes my heart full. Life can get overwhelming, especially thanks to Social…
