    Rainy Day Errands

Whoooohooo, I’m back y’all! It took me a good week, but I’m finally over a cold I had. After many adjustments, essential oil rubs, and bowls of chicken broth, I finally had enough energy to leave the house. Derrek and I had to run some errands in town and this outfit was perfect for the rainy weather. I love neutrals, especially in the winter, and this cream knit top from Love Elle Shop has become a staple in my wardrobe! I loved how easily it paired with leggings and my rain boots, and because it’s longer in the back, it doesn’t leave my booty out. I’ve worn it with colored…

    Lorena Canals – washable rug

I am so excited to be teaming up with Lorena Canals rugs today to bring you revolution for your children’s playroom or bedroom! Before we had one of their rugs, food was a big no-no in the playroom not to mention drinks! The kids looked at me side eyed when I told them they could watch a movie and eat popcorn in their playroom the other day but happily went along with my idea. With kids, it’s just expected that a mess will happen and you learn to prepare for it verses letting it ruin your day. Now that they have this Lorena Canals rug in their playroom, I’m not afraid…

    Spiritual Gangster

Derrek’s shirt | jeans | boots Merry Christmas ya’ll! Derrek and I snuck out yesterday to finish some Christmas shopping and I loved his outfit so much I had to get some pictures of my man! I’m always looking for a good pair of shoes for Derrek. He’s the type of guy that cares more about shopping for us than shopping for himself so, I was so excited when Skechers contacted me about working together on a men’s feature! He needed some love and attention in the shoe department and after going to their website, he knew he wanted a pair of boots for winter. The Skecher’s website is actually quite…

    A Winter Wonderland

During the holiday season, I always make sure our house is all decked out with festive items. One of my favorite companies to order from for home décor is Cardboard Safari. Cardboard Safari is an American based company that creates laser cut cardboard wall art! I really love their company because they use locally sourced materials that are 100% recyclable! We’ve decorated with several of their items this year! You can see our autumn wreath, unicorn and a deer head on my past blog posts. They are SO easy to put together and the instructions are part of what makes the process so easy. I hate when you get something…

    Soft Enough for a King

This year, we started a new Christmas tradition in our home thanks to Soft Enough for a King. I love making these memories with our littles and this one has become one of my favorites! The kids have really grown to look forward to putting new pieces of straw into the manger. As they opened the package to Soft Enough for a King, their eyes lit up, though a bit confused as to what it was. We all sat on the couch, Nolan holding tightly to the baby Jesus, as I read the included storybook and explained to them that with each  bit of love and thoughtfulness we give to…
